Environmental Posters, 2025
This project involved selecting an Australian pollution issue and developing a poster that communicates a clear visual narrative to a broad public audience. Created prior to the algae blooms that later affected Adelaide’s beaches, the research focused on how pesticides and agricultural chemicals enter the Murray River through runoff. To encourage engagement, irony was used by contrasting the river’s perceived sense of leisure with themes of contamination. Strong research underpinned the concept, resulting in two poster variations designed to function independently or
as a cohesive pair.
